Dear Parents and Carers,
As part of our autumn topic ‘Through the Ages’, we would like to take Miss Parnowski’s class for a trip to Grimspound on Dartmoor. We will study the prehistoric settlement, which was built in the late Bronze Age. The trip is taking place on Friday 11th October.
There will be no cost to this trip.
We will be leaving and returning to school within normal school hours and will be having lunch whilst we are there. Your child will therefore need to bring a packed lunch on this day. Children who receive free school meals will be provided with a school packed lunch. The children will travel by minibus.
We will be wearing our school uniforms on this trip but children must bring a backpack each to carry their own lunch and water bottle. They should also take a coat. Please ensure that your child’s belongings are labelled. If your child requires an inhaler, please make sure that this is given to reception and a medical form has been completed in the office before the day of the trip.
