Dear Parents/Carers,
Did you know that we have a Nursery and that we take children from 2 years old?
Here at Mill Lane we offer pre-school education for children aged 2-4 years. We provide morning, afternoons or all-day sessions during term-time.
Our Nursery is led by a fully qualified teacher who is supported by our excellent and fully qualified nursery practitioners. Our team work together to help get children school-ready, so that they start reception confident and happy.
Within our Nursery we are lucky enough to have a big outdoor area that the children have free flow access to daily. In addition, on site we have a wildlife area which we explore with the children and an outdoor classroom that we also visit. We have play apparatus on the playground for the children to enjoy as well.
The types of funding we accept are:
• 2-Year-old funding (15 hours)
• Early years entitlement, term after 3rd birthday (15 hours)
• 30 hours funding – these is a criteria to meet
• Tax free childcare payments
Most of the children who attend our nursery move up to our Reception class. This means that the children are already familiar with the setting, staff, other children in their class and the school environment. What a great start for them to begin their school journey!
