About Reception

We know that every child is different and that they all bring with them so many varied experiences. What is important is their willingness to have a go, their inquisitiveness when they tackle new opportunities and their resilience in a class surrounded by new people and new rules. We will embrace what they bring and acknowledge their strengths and interests as individuals. It is essential for us to discover their individual starting points from the beginning so that we can continue to build on those foundations and support them to love their own unique learning journey.

We offer a nurturing, well rounded environment where all children can develop in their own way through a mix of adult and child-led learning. We encourage creative play in a safe environment which allows children to explore and learn at their own pace with guidance from us along the way. This allows us to not only prepare children for the academic demands ahead but also to develop them into independent, curious individuals with a love for learning.

We have all shown our…
