Dear year 6 parents and carers,
As we are sure you are aware, the year 6 SATs are fast approaching, taking place the week beginning 11th May 2026. With this in mind, we would like to invite you in for a parents’ meeting where we can discuss the preparation on the lead up to the week and the organisation of the week itself: how we will be supporting your child and how you can support your child in order for them to do the best they can.
We will give you the opportunity to look at some examples of test papers and ask any questions you may have.
To hopefully enable more parents to attend, we will hold two meetings on Tuesday 10th March at 3.15 pm and again at 5.15pm in Miss Sowden’s classroom (the content will be the same in both meetings so please choose the time that suits you best to attend).
