Dear Parents and Carers,
On Monday 20th July, some children across the IVY Trust have been invited to participate in the Ivy Games being held at Exeter Arena. We are also inviting two children from each of the schools to make a ‘media’ team who will be in charge of taking photos and videos of the event.
We would like to invite your child to take up this role. They will first take part in a Teams Meeting during school time next week with the media team at EE to be properly briefed about the role.
We will then be travelling by coach to the event which will be picking up the children from our different Trust schools along the way. We will be collected from Teignmouth Train Station at 8:25am so your child will need to be there by 8.20am. We will return to Teignmouth Train Station at 3.45pm where they will need to be collected by a parent or guardian.
Please note that the coach will not be able to wait for children as it has scheduled stops at our other Trust schools.
Your child should wear their normal school uniform. We will provide the iPad for them to use during the day. They should also bring weather-appropriate items, such as sun cream, a hat, and a waterproof jacket, depending on the forecast.
In addition, they will need to bring a packed lunch, snack and plenty of drinks, which they will take with them to the venue.
