Book Fair 2022

2nd February 2022rachael.woodward

Dear Parents & Guardians,

Book Fair 2022

We are very pleased to announce that we will be able to hold our Book Fair this year, which will be the first time for two years because of covid restrictions.  It will commence on Monday 7th March 2022.  We are hoping that as in previous years you will be able to come into the Hall after School to look at the books with your child, we may hold the Book Fair over 3 days and stagger the classes during the day and also after school but obviously this relies on how the situation is regarding covid, so we will let you know nearer the time.

There will be over 200 titles for you and your child to choose from, you can view the books available at bookfairs.scholastic.co.uk/bookcases. Every book that is brought helps us get “free books” for our Library.  Also available this year are “gift vouchers” which you can buy online, if you google Scholastic Book Fair then click on gift vouchers scholastic book fair and follow the instructions, you can buy £5, £10, £15, £20 and £25 amounts.  Please note that no change can be given so if you purchase a gift voucher for £10.00 then this is the amount that would have to be spent.  The online payment system is available for parents wishing to pay by card either at the fair or from home, the link is www.bookfairs.scholastic.co.uk/pay then click on first one that appears which is find school – school book fairs, enter school name, this facility will be available from Monday 7th March 2022. At the book fair there will also be a QR code which you can scan to pay for your books online

Attached to this letter will be some helpful information regarding the book fair. Also, can I please remind you that we are a cashless school so we can only accept card payments or the vouchers that are mentioned above.  If you need any help or advice regarding the book fair, I am more than happy to help you.

Yours faithfully,

Sharon Price
