Dear Parents/ Carers
CAP UK is a school-based project that works with the whole school community to reduce children’s vulnerability to abuse. CAP equips children with the skills and strategies necessary to stay safe from harm and encourages them to grow up to be strong and confident young people.
They will be working with our children this term. The workshops will run on the week beginning the 28.3.22, with each class having a total of three hours of workshops over three days. The content of the workshops will include keeping safe around other children, around strangers, and also the people that they already know. Years 2 to 6 will also learn about keeping safe on-line.
The format of the workshops will be a combination of role-plays and group discussion and the Reception and Y1 classes will also be having a puppet show.
We very much look forward to them working with our children to help to keep them SAFE, STRONG and FREE and to empower them to keep safe in all situations.
