On Friday, Miss Powley’s class visited Haldon Forest as part of their ‘Enchanted Woodlands’ topic.
We drove to Haldon in our school mini-bus and enjoyed walking around the discovery trail and keeping our eyes peeled for signs of autumn! We then sat in the picnic area to enjoy our delicious packed lunches and topped this off with a scrumptious hot chocolate each in the café. We then played together in the park play area before sharing a story of The Gruffalo’s Child – which the children chose themselves.
A wonderful time was had by all!
