Dear Parents and Carers,
A reminder that tomorrow is our jubilee day. The children are invited to wear red, white and blue or dress as a monarch. Please see below an outline of our activities for the day:-
- There will be a focus on activities in class learning about the jubilee day and British Values
- Art work to be completed in the class so that it can come together to make a shared piece of school art work so that we have something to commemorate the day
- Assemblies to happen in the morning with a focus on jubilee day
- There will be strawberries and ice cream provided for the children by the school for after the picnic
- 12.30pm picnic for all children on the field. Children have been asked to bring a packed lunch or order a school packed lunch. Please send a blanket in with your child if you have them
- There will be jubilee themed music for the children to dance to
- Games for classes to play. We will provide prizes
It looks to be warm tomorrow so please provide your child with a sun hat, sun cream and plenty to drink.
Tomorrow is the last day of this term I hope that you have a wonderful jubilee themed half term and hopefully get to ensure some sunshine. Term starts again on Monday 6th June.
