EDEN PROJECT

FEBRUARY 27TH 2026

Dear parent/carer,

As part of our ‘Awesome Amazon’ topic, we would like to take Elder and Oak class on a trip to the Eden Project. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn about different biomes and will greatly assist with their geography learning.

The cost of this trip will be £12, this has been set up to pay on Arbour.  This will cover the cost of transport to the Eden Project and the school will subsidise the cost of entry.

We will be leaving from Teignmouth train station at 8:30am and are expecting to arrive back at the train station at 3:30. We will be having lunch at the Eden Project therefore your child will need to have a packed lunch. Children who receive free school meals will be provided with a school packed lunch.

We will be wearing our school uniform on this trip.  It is essential that the children bring a rucksack in order to carry their own lunch and water bottle. They also need a waterproof coat as large parts of the site are not under cover. Please ensure that your child’s belongings are labelled. We recommend that they have comfortable shoes as we will be doing a fair amount of walking. If your child requires any medication throughout the day, please ensure this is clearly stated on the SEO3 forms and then complete a medical form so that we can administer anything required.

Many thanks,

Miss Sowden and Miss Parnowski

Please urgently give your consent to the above trip by completing the form below.
