On Wednesday 9th October girls from Year 4, 5 and 6 took part in a football festival at Teign School.
The aim of the festival was to introduce the girls to some of the key skills and rules of football and allow them to play against girls from other schools. Those that had played before got a chance to show off and improve their skills and knowledge.
Despite the changeable weather, the girls had a great time and definitely looked the part in their new kit, kindly donated by CGI. CGI is among the largest IT and business consulting services firms in the world who support various charities and groups that their employees care about. As a parent here at TCS is an employee of the company, CGI is proud to be sponsoring the kit for Teignmouth Community School.
A massive thank you to Dartmoor School Sports Partnership for putting on the event and to CGI for donating a new football kit to the school.
