Dear parent/carer,
As you know, your child is going to Grenville House for their residential trip soon; from 29th November until 3rd December. They are going to have a great time and I hope they are getting excited about it!
This letter is to just clear up a few questions that have come up.
The children do not need bedding; this is all supplied.
The children DO need a packed lunch for the first day. If your child receives free school meals they will be provided with a school packed lunch. If all children could bring a lunch box and refillable drinks bottle then that would be most helpful for the rest of the week.
No electronic items – including phones, tablets, games consoles etc. are allowed. Cameras (digital or film) are fine but are the child’s responsibility. Books, card games, portable board games etc. are all absolutely fine. Teddies are essential!
There is no need for any spending money. It is mentioned on the Grenville Kit list (provided by them and not editable by us) but there is nowhere to spend any.
Children need to come to school at normal time on Monday and will be collected at normal time on Friday. The coach will leave at about 10.30 on Monday and arrive back at school at around 2.00 on Friday.
If you have any questions please get in touch.
Many thanks,
Jonathan Ball
