Dear Parents and Carers,
During the second half of the summer term we usually hold our Healthy Living Week. Children from nursery up to year 6 have a week of lessons covering various aspects of Health, Relationships and Sex Education.
This year, with many of our children not attending, we have made the decision to move these lessons to the autumn term. This affects children currently in nursery to year 5. Children will cover the work they should have done in the summer term of their previous year group. It is important that children are taught these lessons by a familiar adult and at present not all children are being taught by their usual teacher.
This means that a child starting in year 4 in September will cover the year 3 work in the autumn term and the year 4 work in the summer term. We will, as always, invite parents in beforehand to learn about what will be taught and to ask any questions.
