RESIDENTIAL TO GRENVILLE HOUSE – CURRENT YEAR 5

9th March 2022rachael.woodward
  Year 6 (current Year 5)

Residential to Grenville House

10th – 14th October 2022

Dear Parent/Carer,

We are delighted to announce that we have secured the above dates for next year’s residential trip to Grenville House Outdoor Education Centre in Brixham.  The residential will consist of activities taking place over 5 days and 4 nights.

These activities include:

  • High ropes
  • Raft building
  • Abseiling
  • Climbing
  • Orienteering
  • Problem solving
  • Raft building

The cost of the trip is set by Grenville House and this year is £230.50 per child which includes the activities mentioned above, accommodation, meals and coach travel. PACA (Parents and Carers Association) have kindly donated £1000 towards the cost of the trip and the school are also contributing towards the cost of the trip.

We are letting you know now so that you have the maximum amount of time to plan and budget for the trip. Payment systems on School Money have been set up for you so that you can begin paying as soon as you like.

A trip meeting, where you can ask any questions you may have, will be held closer to the time – in the summer term. This meeting will also confirm the kit/equipment that children will need on the residential.  In the meantime, for more information regarding the residential, please contact Mr Ball (jonathan.ball@teignmouthschool.co.uk).
