Reception visited the woods to look for signs of spring. We found lots of flowers: daffodils, primrose, snowdrops, celandine, hellebores, violets and more. We also found catkins on the hazel trees – although they are nearly finished now – as well as leaves beginning to emerge from their buds. We heard birds singing and saw some birds’ nests too. We also found frogspawn in the pond; we didn’t spot any frogs though.
