As part of STEM week, each class had a question to answer. We had to reveal the question using some magic potion and a paint brush and it linked to the national topic of ‘Our Diverse World’.
Our class question was: ‘What material makes the best coat for Antarctica?’
We set up an experiment using bottles filled with hot water and wrapped them in different materials. We then put them in a cool box with plenty of ice and waited for nearly an hour. We then tested the temperature of each bottle to see which material kept the water the warmest! Can your child remember which material that was?
