Our pupils love sharing their talents with the local community. Last summer, the children helped plant and sow sunflower seeds for the Friends of Teignmouth Orangery. Today, some of our Year 6 pupils came along to see the results of their gardening. It’s fair to say that they were impressive! These beautiful sunflowers, planted by the children of Teignmouth Primary School, certainly help to further brighten the beautiful gardens of Bitton House. As a special treat, some of the children got to explore inside the orangery itself and have a guided tour from the Friends of Teignmouth Orangery.
We are always looking for more ways to celebrate and give back to our local community, and it was lovely to see the results of this project.
