On Monday 16th September, year 6 embarked on their residential trip to Grenville House in Brixham for the week.
During the week, we took part in many new and daring activities including caving, abseiling, high ropes, kayaking, raft building, indoor climbing and problem solving. We had some amazing experiences such as swimming and kayaking with seals, enjoying an evening stroll along the break water and orienteering on Berry Head.
We also did our bit for the environment by clearing rubbish from the harbour and practised a lot of life skills like being independent and responsible for ourselves, each other and for our things, washing and clearing up after meals and sharing dormitories with many others.
We had a fantastic week and have made memories we will keep for the rest of our lives.
