Year 6 made blood smoothies this week to help learn about the different components in our blood. Once we had made them, we got to try some too!
This week Miss Sowden’s class launched our Viking topic and worked as a team to make a Viking long ship with oars. We also made colourful shields to go on the sides, but we haven’t finished yet! Look out for us as we go on adventures across the sea.

Year 4/5 and year 5, had the amazing opportunity to participate in a Daisi workshop hosted by the Helen Foundation. The children took part in a dance workshop focusing on ‘Plastic Pollution in Our Oceans’. This workshop was an introduction to our Plastic Pollution learning which is linked to our trip to Plymouth Aquarium.
On Wednesday 6th February Teignmouth Community School Mill Lane pupils were treated to an enchanting, interactive reenactment of a Robin Hood from M and M Theatrical Productions.
