Form SOE3: Parental consent for off-site activities (London Trip 2025) Visit or activity Houses of Parliament, Natural History Museum

Home Forms Form SOE3: Parental consent for off-site activities (London Trip 2025) Visit or activity Houses of Parliament, Natural History Museum

Dear parent/carer,

Year 5 will be going on a trip to London on Wednesday July 23rd. This is a trip that we have run for many years and it is always a fantastic experience. We will visit the Houses of Parliament, the Natural History Museum and have a guided tour of London.

We will be leaving Teignmouth Train Station (not school) at 5.45 am and will return for about 10.45pm, depending on traffic.

We are going to visit the Natural History Museum in the morning, have a tour of London on the coach and then visit the Houses of Parliament for our tour and workshops at 2.30 pm. We will leave London just after 5.00pm, stop for a meal in Burger King on the way home, and hopefully arrive in Teignmouth for about 10.45 pm.

There will be more information and a meeting to discuss any worries or issues that you may have closer to the time.

The cost of the trip will be £30; this is payable on School Money. This will cover the coach, the activities and the meal at Burger King. Packed lunches will be needed. If your child receives free school meals then a school packed lunch will be provided. The trip is heavily subsidised by Parliament; we only pay 25% of the coach costs.

As this is a curriculum trip, we would like all children to attend, if possible. If you have concerns over payment, please see the school office, where the team will be able to help.

Please complete the SOE3 form to indicate consent and provide up-to-date details. – Link Below

Many thanks,

J Ball
