This week we have had a focus on science. We carried out an investigation to find out how many paperclips different magnets would pick up. Here we are at the beginning of the week exploring the classroom to find magnetic objects.

Year 1 (Mrs Wilde’s class) visited the woods this week. A lot has changed since we last visited. We talked about seasonal changes – one of our science objectives – and about why things grow in the spring and not in the winter.
Some of reception had a chance to explore the woods this week. They have changed so much since we last went – everything has grown, there are lots of new flowers but lots have disappeared too – the daffodils and crocuses have finished for this year already!
